How Virtual Works

TMSA Virtual is designed to bring structure, flexibility, and high expectations together, creating a learning environment where students are engaged, accountable, and supported throughout the day. Each day blends live instruction with flexible learning time, ensuring students stay connected to teachers while also building independence and ownership of their learning.

Daily Schedule Example:

  • 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM → Announcements + live, teacher-led core instruction
  • 12:00 – 1:00 PM → Lunch / break
  • 1:00 – 3:00 PM → Asynchronous learning, electives, and teacher office hours
  • 3:00 – 8:00 PM (flex window) → Success Coaching, extended learning, and personalized support

Student Expectations:

  • Cameras on, actively engaged during live instruction
  • Daily attendance required with consistent participation
  • Strong parent partnership to support routines and success
  • Digital literacy skills to navigate platforms, communicate, and manage learning

This model ensures students experience the consistency of a school day with the flexibility to learn, grow, and succeed in a virtual environment.
